This is no ordinary safari — it’s your chance to explore Mkomazi National Park on foot, guided by an armed ranger. From Moshi, you’ll journey into one of northern Tanzania’s least-visited treasures, where the wide-open savannahs and acacia woodlands feel untouched. Walking among giraffes, zebras, elephants and antelopes gives a perspective no vehicle can match. This is one of the rarest adventures a traveler can ask for!

Itinerary:
A full day trip to Mkomazi National Park
- Morning pick-up from your Moshi accommodation. If you are staying in Arusha, please read ''optional activities'' below.
- Scenic drive south-east toward Mkomazi National Park gate.
- Meet your armed ranger and receive a short safety briefing.
- Guided walking safari: spot giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and diverse birdlife.
- Learn about tracks, plants, and the ecosystem from your ranger.
- Break for a simple picnic or packed lunch in the park.
- Continue exploring on foot before heading back to the park gate.
- Afternoon return drive to Moshi, arriving late afternoon.
- For guests starting in Arusha, we offer a 1-night accommodation inside the park due to the distance and time. Please read ''optional activities'' below.

Optional Activities:
- If you are staying in Arusha, the drive one-way gets pretty long. For guests leaving from Arusha, we organize this trip with a sleepover inside a mid-range hat inside the park. That also allows you to experience 2 walking safari. Price per person from Arusha starts from 220 USD.
