Itinerary:
Day 1:
- We'll pick you up at your accommodation, or meet you at the Momella Gate in Arusha National Park.
- We'll start with registration at the gate.
- Hike through montane forest, with possible sightings of giraffe, buffalo, bushbuck, and colobus monkeys.
- Distance: ~10 km (4–6 hrs).
- Overnight at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 2:
- Steeper climb through montane forest into alpine heath.
- Beautiful viewpoint over the Meru Crater and the Ash Cone.
- Optional short acclimatization hike in the afternoon to Little Meru (3,820 m) for sunset views.
- Distance: ~8 km (4–5 hrs).
- Overnight at Saddle Hut.
Day 3:
- Very early start (around 1–2 a.m.).
- Trek up via Rhino Point (3,800 m) and Cobra Point (4,350 m) to reach Socialist Peak for sunrise.
- Panoramic views: Kilimanjaro, the Rift Valley, and crater floor.
- Descend back to Saddle Hut for breakfast, then down past Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate.
- Total hiking: 18–20 km, 10–12 hrs.
- No overnight, end of your trek. Pick up your climb certificate at Momella Gate.
- Drive back to your accommodation.

- Extra night for acclimatization (total trip duration would be 4 days)

- Day trips around Arusha/Moshi (Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour, hot springs,...)
- Airport transfers to/from Arusha/JRO airport if needed
