Itinerary:

Day 1: Tarangire National Park Safari

7:30–8:00 AM pickup from Arusha/Moshi accommodation.
Drive (~2 hrs from Arusha / 3.5 from Moshi) to Tarangire National Park.
Full-day game drive among giant baobabs, elephants, and big cats.
Late afternoon drive to a lodge/camp near Lake Manyara or Karatu.
Overnight: Karatu town.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Morning game drive in Lake Manyara (tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos).
Picnic lunch in the park.
Afternoon drive (~4 hrs) into the Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate.
Wildlife viewing en route to your lodge in Central Serengeti.
Overnight: Serengeti Central.

Day 3: Serengeti Central

Early morning and afternoon game drives in Seronera region.
Expect lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, and herds in motion.
Overnight: Same camp/lodge as Day 2.

Day 4: Central Serengeti -> Northern Serengeti (Mara River Zone)

Scenic drive northward through migration routes (4–5 hrs with wildlife stops).
Afternoon game drive along the Mara River to spot potential river crossings.
Overnight: Mara Kati Kati Camp / Serengeti Wilderness Camp – North / similar camp/lodge in North.

Day 5: Full Day Northern Serengeti (Great Migration Focus)

Full day exploring the Kogatende area for dramatic Mara River crossings.
Crocodiles, wildebeest herds, zebras, and big cat action.
Optional: Balloon Safari (extra fee, 600-650 USD/person according to the season).
Overnight: Same as Day 4.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti -> Ngorongoro Highlands

Morning game drive in north before driving southward.
Picnic lunch en route as you exit Serengeti via Naabi Hill.
Evening arrival at a lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim or Karatu area.
Overnight: Rhino Lodge / Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge / similar lodge at Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Early descent into Ngorongoro Crater (UNESCO site, Big Five hotspot).
A full day drive in the crater including lunch at the hippo pool picnic site.
Afternoon transfer to nearby Karatu.
Overnight: Karatu Town.

Day 8: Lake Manyara & Return

Drive to Lake Manyara National park for hippos, flamingos, tree climbing lions and various monkeys.
Enjoy a half-day game drive.
Return to Arusha/Moshi in the afternoon hours.
Optional visit of Maasai village - meet the community, see their traditional housing, dancing and singing.
